Meet the Legacy Interviews Team

The Legacy Interviews team is based in Saint Louis, Missouri. 

Vance Crowe; Founder, Interviewer

Vance Crowe founded Legacy Interviews and has interviewed hundreds of people from all walks of life. His role is working with the client to be ready for their interview and conducting each interview himself.

 

Vance is the middle child of seven and has been a deckhand on a ship, worked on a paving crew, served in the US Peace Corps in rural Kenya, has been a spokesman for a Fortune 500 company and was on a board of directors for a regional bank.

 

Vance has a master’s degree in negotiations and has been named as a fellow with the US Center for Peace and Conflict studies and been awarded the meritorious communicator award for the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers.  Vance lives in Saint Louis with his wife Ann, two daughters and their dog Tia.  

Sean Thiessen; Director of Film & Editing

 

Sean Thiessen oversees all video recording and editing for Legacy Interviews. Sean has extraordinary skill at making people look their best on camera and can edit film to make the conversation just right.


Sean is a filmmaker originally from Springfield, Missouri. After graduating from Missouri State University in 2017, Sean moved to Los Angles, California, where he worked on commercials, music videos, reality shows, and movies. He also assisted on marketing campaigns for movies like Spider-Man: Far From Home and The Secret Life of Pets 2.


After 5 years in Los Angeles, Sean returned to the Midwest to join the Legacy Interviews team and tell the stories of the real people who shape the world.


Sean spends his free time watching movies, discovering delicious food, and exploring diverse genres of music.  In 2022, his screenplay What Rhymes With Reason was turned into a feature film and is set to release in theaters nationwide October 10, 2023.

Sydney Anderson; Interview Coordinator

 

Sydney Anderson is the coordinator of all interviews; scheduling, mailing and assisting clients.  Sydney can answer any questions about the interview process.


Sydney is an avid animal lover who spends many of her weekends volunteering at one of the many local animal shelters. In college, she focused on business with journalism and communications as extracurricular

Solomon Wilken; Production and audio engineering

Solomon is the producer and audio engineer for Legacy Interviews. Solomon received his education in audio production from Southwestern Illinois College. Solomon has an associates in applied science and a certificate in Protools audio engineering.

Solomon has experience in radio production, building podcast studios, maintaining radio towers & quality audio post-production. Outside of the studio, Solomon has worked in stage managing for Gateway Opera Theatre and behind-the-scenes work with Monroe Actors Stage Company.

Solomon is a singer with the renowned Saint Louis Chamber Chorus, and is active with local theatre troupes.
