Imagine listening to mom and dad’s tell stories for hours about how they grew up and what they did in their lives. You watch the recording knowing that you can pass this video down to your own children and grandchildren and can watch a video of their grandparents telling stories about their family history. Show mom and dad that you want to hear their stories by getting a Full Day Legacy Interview for Couples. During this experience we will interview each parent individually and together as a couple.

The entire day is a relaxing experience that includes a catered lunch. Afterwards your loved one will get a video of all three conversations. Recording a Legacy Interview is a simple yet profound experience. Your loved one will be invited to tell stories and reminisce about things they have not thought about in decades. Guests are given the opportunity to reflect on their hard work, sacrifices and joys they have experienced. Guests have a conversation with Vance Crowe, the founder of Legacy Interviews. Vance will ask questions that will help your loved one tell a range of stories that offer context to their lives and the wider family tree.

Each guest is encouraged to bring in 3-5 photographs and 3-5 photographs of the couple together. These photos will be used to help you recall memories and will be used in the final production of your interview.

To help your loved one prepare, we will send a Preparing for Your Interview Guide which provides an overview of the experience, offers clothing advice and has a list of Thought Starter Questions designed to help your parents recall stories from their childhood, career, marriage, parenting and the wisdom they learned along the way.

When you buy this as a gift

• We will send you a gift package explaining this gift to your loved one. This will include a “preparing for your interview guide”

• We will email you a questionnaire that will tell us when and how to contact your loved one to schedule their interview. Here you will have the opportunity to tell us about your loved one so we can be sure to ask the right questions.

• The day of the interview we will host your loved on in our St Louis recording studio.

• A few weeks after your interview we will send you a digital copy of your interview lightly edited.
